Maya Generalist/Technical Artist
Requirements & Skills
- Experience modeling high-quality props, weapons, and vehicles (hard surface modeling)
- Advanced Maya experience rigging technical mechanisms and creating animator-friendly set-ups
- Rigid/Soft Body Dynamics
- Curve/Hair Dynamics
- Cloth Dynamics
- Strong UV layout skills
- Maya experience in at least one other area (Lighting, Rendering, Character Rigging, Scripting, etc.)
- Mel Script/Python Expertise
- Advanced Texture/Shader experience
- Zbrush/Mudbox high-res modeling and normal map sampling production experience
- Havok familiarity, previous experience
- Houdini dynamics experience
- Fluid Simulation (Real Flow, Houdini)
